Checking in guests

Checking a guest in records that they’ve arrived. You do it from the event’s guest list in Mint.

  1. Open the guest list

Go to Events, open your event and select the Guests tab.

  2. Open the guest

Search for them by name, email or company, and select them in the list.

  3. Select Check in

The button is next to their status. Their details now show Checked in with the time, and the Checked in column in the list fills in.

If you checked in the wrong person, open them again and select Undo check-in. Their check-in time is cleared.

  1. Select the guests

On the Guests tab, tick the box next to each guest.

  2. Select Check in

In the bar above the list, select Check in.

Guests who were already checked in keep their original check-in time.

Each guest’s confirmation email is their ticket. Its registration details have a QR code for each person in the group, with a short check-in code under it. If a guest’s email app hides images, your team can type in the check-in code instead. Plus-ones under 18 or without an email have theirs in the confirmation sent to the person who registered them.

QR codes only appear for guests who are Attending, and only on in-person and hybrid events. Reminder emails can carry them too, with the {{guest.qr_code}} merge tag.

At the entrance, find the guest on the Guests tab by their name or email and check them in.
